Our Mission

E Pluribus Foundation believes democratic renewal is possible. Not because we're naive. Not because we think humans are perfect. Not because we believe technology automatically creates good outcomes.

Because we believe in the Roddenberry Principle: Given the tools for self-governance, humanity will choose cooperation over domination. Transparency over opacity. Participation over exclusion. Democracy over authoritarianism.

We build infrastructure that enables democratic renewal. What humanity does with it is up to humanity.

What We Do

Stewardship

We maintain and protect the E Pluribus platform as a public good. Open source, forkable, and never controlled by any single entity.

Advocacy

We champion participatory democracy in policy discussions, supporting pilots and partnerships with governments and organizations.

Education

We develop resources, publish research, and build coalitions to advance understanding of direct and liquid democracy.

Join the Movement

Democratic renewal requires all of us. Explore the platform, read the book, or contribute to the open-source infrastructure.
